The Council’s Global Travel Scholarship Program provides a small number of scholarships to selected high school students to participate in a summer program abroad through World Learning’s Experiment in International Living.

This year the Council will send a send a record 18 students overseas this summer. Click here to read more about this year's students.

Students will spend three to five weeks participating in community service, language training, outdoor adventures and the arts. Part of their trips will be spent with host families. They will be expected to share their experiences with school and community groups when they return.

Since 2004, the Council has sent students to Argentina, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Spain, and Thailand.
